Do you have some things you are trying to figure out?

How long have you been trying? Can they really be solved by your workings? To whom have you sought advice? What would happen if you let it go, could you?

Are you in communication with the right source to help? When is enough enough?

I’ve spoken of this before, that teacher who asked me where I would be 10 or 20 years from now, but I feel it fits in quite well here too. Was she asking me to figure out my life at 15? Sound silly doesn’t it, but that is what we do. Even at 57, I find myself falling in line with the world, trying to figure it all out when in fact I have no clue how to do that or where to even start. I’ve also often talked about whatever the world says, the Bible is pretty much the exact opposite. Take this scripture for example: Matthew 6:31-34 ~ Therefore do not worry, saying, what shall we eat: or What shall we drink: or what shell we wear: For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of god and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

I think it’s about unraveling, not putting it all together. The world is constantly telling us we need to do this and that in order for our life to be this, but can you see the world doesn’t even know what that looks like? God is the ONLY ONE who knows what your or my life is supposed to be. We have a lifetime of untangling to do, but we are not alone in our mess and we do have the right help if we simply seek God for His instruction.

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-8 ~ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.

Give your day to God each morning, ask Him what He would have you work on. He created you for Himself, and only He knows what your life really looks like. Can you let go and allow Him to put it together for you?
