Have you ever moved?
Do you enjoy the excitement of a new place, or loathe this type of change?
Were you relocating to a new part of town, or different state?
Did you move because of a career, or personal reasons?
What are some steps you need to take for a successful transition?
Let’s dig in shall we; The first thing we automatically do when a big change is upon is mentally prepare and envision ourselves being there. It is a fact, any change starts with a thought, a mental move so to speak. This can be one of the hardest steps especially if we didn’t initiate it. Change of any kind means laying down a part of your life you worked so hard at perfecting and saying good-bye to it.
Secondly, we begin to look around and decide “what do I take with me, and what no longer serves my new situation?” We cannot change if we don’t first “release” to make room.
Thirdly, it is crucial to not pick up things to fill those empty spaces before you take a complete inventory on what you truly need. This can be an extremely difficult process as it takes patience. We don’t always know what we need right away. Once you have determined those things, selecting them can be even harder as we remember the mistakes we made the last time and we tend to be more focused on what not to do than the wonderful possibilities in front of us. So how do we most effectively move thru these constant changes in our lives? Who is the Creator of everything; your past, your now, your future…your eternity? Our Almighty Lord and Savior is. He is the guide we need, to take each step, and He will light the way most assuredly. Patience is worth repeating, it will come into play especially when your mental move is complete but your surroundings have not made an appearance yet.
The Author and Finisher of our life is waiting for you to consult with Him. He can and will be your perfect guide and companion.
Matthew 6:33 ~ “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Our purpose for existence is not to be the god of our own life, to simply serve our needs and whoever we decide to help us along the way, but to align with the One and Only God, the Creator of all. As we put Him in charge, to use us for His glory, He will bless us and take care of us beyond what we could even imagine or dream.
Hebrews 10:23 ~ “Let us hold tightly, without waivering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promises.”
Friends, rest in Him today❤️
