Greetings from the comfort of my sofa! After two action-packed appointments, I am very happy sitting, and updating my site:)
One of the more challenging of rooms to organize, if only for the time it takes, is the “Art Room.” Just to give you an idea of what I can accomplish in just a few hours, I have attached some Before & After photos of the art room.
The challenge of the art room as well as office organizing, you can only touch, and move one or two things at a time. In these rooms, there are many more “things” you have to move/categorize. The process is the same in any room, just an FYI.
I suggest you remove everything from that room (excluding furniture, unless you plan on using the pieces in a different area of the home) and at the same time start to categorize sections and piles outside the room.
As in this case, there were many plastic bags of many different things, therefore after clearing the room, I brought back one bag at a time, dumped it on the table and began to sort. It is always helpful if you have empty containers available to help sort things such as; stickers, markers, tape, scrapbook paper, etc.
If you remained focused and follow this plan til the end, you two can create a better work space.
Happy Organizing!
