What have you learned that could benefit another?

Does your experience encourage and uplift?

Do you spend time worrying if another doesn’t heed to your “Don’t do” lesson?

Did you know praying for that person is more powerful than teaching them?

How much peace do you loose because you cannot change another?

Today is my birthday. I have officially completed 57 years walking this planet. What have I learned so far? Here are a few things:

1. I can be the worst enemy I’ve ever had, OR the greatest friend.

2. I can talk myself out of anything, given enough time OR I can move when God puts something on my heart. Obedience is best.

3. I can put my words and thoughts into someone else’s mouth, OR I can mind my own business and listen to what God says to me, and about me.

4. I can think that life is happening to me, OR for me. God allowed it for a reason.

Here’s a big question for ya;

How much of your pain and suffering is self inflicted?

Sitting in my favorite chair, drinking a hot cup of coffee, I am reflecting on all the gifts and blessings of my life. I see the patterns where I spent too much time thinking I knew what someone else was thinking.(a fantastic tool of the enemy btw) I see now I had no clue, and most likely NOT thinking of me at all! I gave away so much peace trying to get into someone else’s head, attempting to figure out how to work around what I thought was happening. Doesn’t it sound absurd when you say it out loud and not in that heightened emotional state, we can see we are literally “out of our mind.” The day my brother shared this, in this context, completely reformatted my brainwaves!

It’s all a distraction friends. Anything that will move you away from gratefulness, away from peace, is to ultimately move you away from God.

Just as we can talk ourselves out of something good, we can also talk ourselves out of something bad. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 ~ No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out os that you can endure it.

We have a loving Father, a kind and patient Teacher who cares for us and only wants the best for us, who forgives us for taking our own path, and is right there when we can take no more. Our life is a cluster of moments, how you spend those moments is up to you. I choose peace, joy….and I choose God.

Choose Him today, it will be the best part of your life too.

Thank you for sharing this day with me.✨❤️🙏🏻
