Do you second guess yourself?

Have you asked yourself why, better yet asked God?

What mindset has taken root, telling you your thoughts/feelings aren’t important?

Did you know it is perfectly okay to have a different perspective than someone else? (Yes, even one closest to you)

How about mistakes; who do you forgive more quickly, yourself or others? Why?

Self discovery is a vast chasm isn’t it? An endless journey with many twists and turns, and that’s just with one person. What happens when we add one other person to the mix? The first thing that came to my mind as I began writing this morning (I’m very much a visual thinker/learner)was the Grand Canyon. If I think about the enormity, and then set the human condition next to it, I imagine it not so overwhelming anymore…maybe that’s just me, but it is the point of this whole writing, right?

Check-and-release, check-and-release, it’s my new motto: Check –

What am I thinking on? Does it line up with God’s word? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Okay, it wasn’t, acknowledge it, thank God for the awareness, ask for help and or forgiveness, then Release. It really is that simple. I didn’t say it was easy, but simple yes.

Our Almighty Lord has no limits, no weaknesses, and carries absolutely no confusion. This Creator of the Universe wants a relationship with you, personally. He is the source of grace, fully sufficient for any lack we may have each day. God doesn’t ask us to figure it all out, in fact He wants us to give it all to Him, because He already has. Any negative thoughts of yesterday will never serve you today, they only subtract from what new grace and mercy your God has for you!

If the Bible is true(and it is!) and it tells us in Isaiah 43:28-19 ~ “Do not remember the past events; pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.”

Trust the simple. Check-and Release, check-and-release!

Thank you Lord for your constant and ever present help, and for your words today.
